Why not focus on the interviewer?

Since previous eyewitness interview studies focused on the accuracy of eyewitness statements why aren’t we looking at the interview techniques that seek truthful answers? After all, we know that eyewitness memory is highly susceptible to manipulation and can result in unreliable information. Why not try asking questions in a mindful way.

It includes sections such as topic descriptions, a graph of topic sequence, data on topic access per interview, examination of question types, topic questions distribution, reliability of cognitive evidence scale, and a summary of reliable cognitive evidence collected, along with scores and dates.

EEIA Summary Report

Every interview session that’s evaluated for proficiency receives a summary report that informs administrators about areas that need attention. We help you understand the nuances of each exchange and explain our assessment. We also recommend a training program that will create more mindful eyewitness interviews for your personnel and allow them to gather more reliable cognitive evidence.
